The Corner Gallery was established by Anne Chaudhry in 1986 and has continued selling bespoke quality knitwear in Kirkcudbright for the last 10 years. Almost 30yrs on her daughter Fiona has joined the business with the re-opeing of the Moffat shop in November 2015, and a new online shop www.thecornergallery.co.uk We provide an individual experience of retail, introducing exclusive lines for The Corner Gallery as well as maintaining some of our longstanding classic designs in both the shops.
We hold a beautiful selection of designer Scottish, Irish & Nordic knitwear. From Orkney & Shetland to Aberdeen, The Highlands, The Scottish Borders, Edinburgh & many more…. Our knitwear ranges are hand chosen, some still hand loomed, in our own colour ways and designs. From traditional fairisle to simple classics, we endeavour to stock collections that are stylish & just a bit different We also stock Spring & Summer styles, the likes of Grizas & Ralston to Cute Loose & McVerdi, all similarly made from entirely natural textiles. You’ll also find a full range of woollen/felted accessories including scarves, hats, bunnets, gloves, brooches, necklaces & all things unusual!
