Moffat Pottery and The Art & Craft Gallery (aka the Art Work Room) are two shops owned by Gerry & Linda Lyons, situated side by side at the top of Moffat High Street.
Moffat Pottery has been in existence for over 50 years offering hand-thrown stoneware made by the Singing Potter, Gerry Lyons. The pottery is designed for every day use and ranges from tiny to large -jugs, sugar bowls, salt & pepper shakers, room scenters, salt-pigs, vases, table lamps, water features, tea-pots, mugs, bowls & pots of all shapes including wall pots. The shop also stocks postcards created from paintings by the potter & a range of traditional gospel albums.
The Art & Craft Gallery is run by Linda Lyons selling original artworks, artist prints, unique hand-crafted jewellery, stunning recycled glass artworks, felted animals, hand-crafted walking sticks, fish sculptures, bargain frames, wind-chimes, greeting cards, soaps & more. Browsers are welcome.
In winter months Linda also offers art & craft classes for adults & young people.
